Where To Find The Best Penny Stocks

They’re called Pink Sheets because, as you might expect, each sheet is printed on pink paper. The Pink Sheets include all the bid and asking prices for over the counter or “OTC” stocks. The majority of penny stocks are listed in the Pink Sheets, which makes them a “must-have” source of information for someone looking for the best penny stocks to buy.

On the other hand, the Pink Sheets do not include details of companies that are listed on the NASDAQ or other big exchanges. However, such details are readily available from such exchanges or media sites that track the major stocks.

Apart from the Pink Sheets, you can also find information about the best penny stocks from stockbrokers, penny stock newsletter publishers, and online penny stock investor communities (including messages boards, blogs and other sites).

Stockbrokers – including online brokerages and full-service brokerages – may publish information about penny stocks, while penny stock newsletters are specifically designed to recommend buying, holding or selling penny stocks. Just don’t believe everything you read – the information and newsletters put out by brokers and newsletters will tend to be general and may not always be accurate. And keep in mind that there have been cases where the publishers of certain penny stock newsletters or “tip sheets” have been guilty of heavily promoting stocks they happen to own in order to pump up the price… and then take a profit on selling such stocks. This is known as “pumping and dumping.”

You can also look for the best penny stocks by visiting various online blogs, message boards and other sites frequented by fellow penny stock investors. You will often discover experienced penny stock investors discussing various stocks which may help you determine whether a given stock is a legitimate prospect or not. Just be sure to do your own due diligence as well. Many people are quick to offer advice about what to buy – and what not to buy – but are they really qualified to advise you? What is their motivation in recommending or recommending against investing in a given penny stock? Remain a little skeptical and use the blogs and message boards as indicators of a stock worth investiGATING… rather than necessarily a stock worth investING in.

Ideally, you should use all the sources of information mentioned above to help you find the best penny stocks. The daily Pink Sheets will give you the facts and figures, while brokers, newsletters, blogs and message boards will give you various opinions. Do your own research as well, and you’ll be well placed to buy the best penny stocks.
